On the VERY FIRST episode of Texture Talks, host, Paige Lewin, get to know Paige as she talks candidly and vulnerably about her first hand experiences with her hair.
As a black woman with 4c curls born in Britain, Paige has experimented with every hairstyle, from wigs and weaves, to braids, bleach, and various different hair colours.
Her hair care journey being so liberal, lead her to seek help, booking hair appointments across a wide spectrum of UK based hair salons.

Hear about her first time getting a relaxer, BY ACCIDENT... and the impacts of her experience in both black and mainstream 'white' salons as a young black woman in Britain with curls, kinks, and coils on her scalp that were seen to be outliers to the standard.
